Privacy Policy

Account data (name, email, phone, province), project details you publish, messages exchanged on the platform, professional verification documents (cédula, company registration, diplomas), and technical data such as IP address, device and pages visited.

To run the marketplace: matching clients with professionals, verifying identity to prevent fraud, enabling messaging, processing subscriptions, sending service emails, and improving the product.

Professionals never see a client's email or phone number unless the client chooses to reveal them. Contact details are automatically redacted in chat messages.

Validated professionals choose to display their contact details (phone, WhatsApp) and website on their public profile so that clients can contact them directly.

To verify their identity, professionals send us documents such as their cédula, company registration (Personería Jurídica) and diplomas or certifications. These documents are stored securely, are visible only to the Nexobro team for verification purposes, and are never shown to other users.

Documents and personal information are kept for the lifetime of the account. When an account is deleted, the associated documents and data are removed in accordance with Costa Rican law.

Storage: your account information is stored in a managed cloud database, and the documents you upload (identity documents, company registrations, diplomas, work photos, review photos and message attachments) are stored as individual files in dedicated cloud storage. Each uploaded file is saved under a unique, unguessable path, so no file can be accessed or overwritten by another user.

Security in transit and at rest: all traffic between your device and Nexobro is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS). Data at rest, both in the database and in document storage, is encrypted. Storage access is restricted by strict access rules that check, for every single file request, who is asking and whether that person is allowed to see the file.

Access control: only authorized members of the Nexobro team can view verification documents, and only to validate a professional profile or handle a support request. Identity numbers and private review tokens are never exposed publicly; they cannot be read through the website, the public profiles or any public interface.

Sensitive data such as passwords are never stored in readable form: they are stored only as cryptographic hashes. Team access to administrative tools is protected by strong authentication and is limited to the minimum information needed for each task.

Your data is used exclusively to operate the Nexobro platform. We never sell or rent personal data to third parties.

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Nexobro: hosting and database, payment processing, email delivery and analytics.

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to marketing messages, by writing to contact@nexobro.com. Deleting your account removes your profile from the platform.
